Waves Trans-X - Perpetual License

Trans-X is a transient shaper plugin from Waves Audio that lets you boost or soften the attack of a sound and bring its sustain forward or back. It is aimed at producers, mixing engineers and home studio users who want more punch on drums and percussion, tighter loops or a different sense of room on individual tracks and full mixes. This listing is a Waves license for Trans-X: the code is registered to your own Waves account and the plugin is then installed and activated through the Waves Central application.

This product is a perpetual license key for Waves Trans-X: it does not expire and can be used on 1 device running macOS and Windows. The key is delivered by email together with the activation instructions.

A typical use is on a drum bus or a single kick or snare track: raising the attack adds snap without extra compression, while lowering it pushes a hard hit further back in the mix. On acoustic guitars, piano or loops the same controls reduce harsh edges or bring out the natural decay of the room.

Key Features:

• Wide and Multi components: Trans-X Wide works on the whole signal and uses little processing power, while Trans-X Multi splits the sound into four bands for more precise work on complex material.
• Four-band control: In the multiband version each band has its own range and sensitivity, so you can sharpen the low end of a drum loop and leave the cymbals untouched.
• Phase-compensated crossover: The band split is designed to keep filter coloration low, so the processed sound stays close to the unprocessed signal apart from the transient changes.
• Attack and sustain shaping: Level and duration settings decide which transients are affected, from short percussive hits to longer instrumental attacks.
• Factory presets: A set of presets for drums, loops and instruments gives you a quick starting point that you can refine by ear.
