AIR Transient - Perpetual License

AIR Transient is a transient shaper plug-in from AIR Music Technology, the audio software brand of the inMusic group, that changes the attack and the sustain of a sound independently of its level. It is meant for producers, mixing engineers and home-studio musicians who want drums, percussion, bass or single instruments to hit harder or sound softer and more distant without reaching for a compressor. The purchase is a license key for the plug-in: it is registered on your inMusic account and the installer is downloaded from there.

This product is a perpetual license key for AIR Transient: it does not expire and can be used on 1 device running macOS and Windows. The key is delivered by email together with the activation instructions.

A typical use is on a drum bus or on a single kick or snare track: raising the attack makes each hit cut through the mix, while lowering the sustain dries out a boomy room. On acoustic guitars, piano, bass or loops the same controls can soften harsh picking or add a little punch, and the graphs help you keep the level unchanged while you compare the result.

Key Features:

• Attack strength and length: Sets how strong and how long the initial impulse of each sound is, so rhythms sound sharper and punchier or smoother and further back.
• Adjustable sensitivity: Decides which hits are processed: the effect can focus on strong accents only or also work gently on quieter notes.
• Tone and multi-band modes: Tone controls brighten or darken the processed part for more clarity, and a full-range or multi-band split mode lets you work on specific frequencies.
• Output clipper and parallel mix: A clipper gently limits the peaks for extra loudness, and a mix control blends the processed and dry signal to keep a natural sound.
• Real-time graphs: Visual graphs in a simple interface show the changes to the signal as they happen, which makes the result easy to judge.
