AIR Xpand!2 - Perpetual License

Xpand!2 is a multitimbral virtual workstation from AIR Music Technology, the developer of instruments and effects supplied with many music production packages. It gives producers and keyboard players a single instrument for pianos, synths, strings, pads, drums and textures, so that a whole arrangement can be sketched without loading many separate plug-ins. The purchase is a licence key for the plug-in, activated in your iLok account and used inside your digital audio workstation.

This product is a perpetual license key for AIR Xpand!2: it does not expire and can be used on Windows and macOS; the number of devices is not stated by the supplier. The key is delivered by email together with the activation instructions.

A typical patch stacks up to four sounds, for example a bass on one part, a pad on another and an arpeggiated synth on a third, each listening to its own MIDI channel or key range. The combined patch is played from a single keyboard or split across several tracks of the workstation, and can be saved for later projects.

Key Features:

• Four parts per patch: Each patch holds four sound slots that can be layered or split, so one instance of the plug-in can play several instruments at once.
• Independent part settings: Every part has its own MIDI channel, key zone, mix level, modulation and effects, which keeps the individual sounds easy to shape.
• Arpeggiator on each part: A dedicated arpeggiator per part turns held chords into rhythmic patterns that follow the tempo of the host.
• Polyphonic and monophonic voices: Parts can play up to 64 voices or switch to mono mode with first, last, highest or lowest note priority for basses and leads.
• Ready-made preset library: A large set of factory patches covers keys, synths, orchestral sounds, drums and effects, organised by category for quick browsing.
