Spitfire Audio Originals Intimate Strings - Perpetual License

Originals Intimate Strings is a virtual string instrument from Spitfire Audio, the London based developer of orchestral sample libraries. It is aimed at composers and producers who need a small, expressive string section for film, games, songs or ambient music, with a sound that stays close and detailed rather than epic. This listing is a license key for the library: it is registered to your Spitfire Audio account and unlocks the download and use of the instrument.

This product is a perpetual license key for Spitfire Audio Originals Intimate Strings: it does not expire and can be used on 2 devices running macOS and Windows. The key is delivered by email together with the activation instructions.

The instrument opens as its own plugin inside your audio workstation, so you can load it on an instrument track, play it from a MIDI keyboard and shape the sound with a few large controls. It works well for quiet piano and string pieces, underscore cues and sketches that later move to a bigger orchestral template.

Key Features:

• Chamber string section: A section of 25 players (violins, violas, cellos and basses) recorded at AIR Studios in London, with a warm and intimate character.
• Nine playing techniques: Articulations such as long notes, flautando, half section, harmonics, pizzicato and col legno cover both sustained lines and short rhythmic parts.
• Three microphone signals: Close, Tree and Vintage mics can be mixed to move from a clear, detailed tone to a softer and more nostalgic colour.
• Standalone Spitfire plugin: The library runs in the Spitfire plugin and does not need Kontakt or any other sampler to be installed.
• Standard plugin formats: AU, VST, VST3 and AAX versions for macOS and Windows, so it loads in the most common audio workstations.
