Shapr3D is a 3D CAD application developed by Shapr3D Zrt. that builds solid models on the Siemens Parasolid kernel, the same geometry engine used by professional mechanical design software. It is made for product designers, engineers, architects, makers and students who prefer direct modelling, moving and cutting geometry with a mouse, a touch screen or the Apple Pencil, instead of managing a long history tree. Pro is the paid individual plan: it lifts the limits of the free version and unlocks the professional export formats, the 2D drawings workspace and the visualisation tools.

A typical workflow: sketch a part on the iPad, refine it on a desktop, add a 2D drawing sheet with dimensions for the workshop, export STEP or X_T for a machinist and STL or 3MF for a 3D printer, then show the finished object as a render before it is manufactured.

Key Features:

• Direct modelling with the Parasolid kernel: Solid geometry is created by pushing, pulling, offsetting and cutting faces, so a shape can be changed at any moment without rebuilding a feature history.
• Sketching with pen or mouse: Sketch tools with constraints, dimensions and snapping work the same with an Apple Pencil on iPad and with a mouse on desktop, and sketches can be projected onto solids.
• 2D drawings: Drawing sheets are generated from the model with views, sections, dimensions and annotations, and exported as PDF, DXF or DWG for production.
• Professional CAD export: Models leave the app as STEP, IGES, X_T, OBJ, USDZ, DXF, DWG or as high resolution STL and 3MF with adjustable tolerance for machining and 3D printing.
• Visualisation: Materials, lighting and environments turn a model into a photographic image for a client or a presentation, and the object can also be placed in augmented reality on iPad.
• One project on every device: Projects are synchronised through the Shapr3D cloud between Windows, macOS and iPadOS, and can be opened and edited offline.

How to Activate:

1. Download Shapr3D from the shapr3d.com website or from the App Store on the device you want to use.
2. Open the app and sign in with the e-mail address and password you received after purchase.
3. Do not change the e-mail address, the password or the recovery details of the account and do not add payment methods unless we ask you to.
4. The Pro plan is already active on the account: exports, 2D drawings and visualisation are available as soon as you are signed in.
