Plugin Alliance Black Box HG-2 - Lifetime Plug-in License

Black Box HG-2 is a tube saturation plugin that models the HG-2 hardware by Black Box Analog Design; it is developed by Brainworx and distributed by Plugin Alliance. It is aimed at producers and mixing or mastering engineers who want to add warmth, density and harmonic colour to single tracks, buses or a full mix. This listing is a license for the plugin: the installers come from the Plugin Alliance account and the license unlocks the full version inside your audio software.

This product is a license for the Plugin Alliance Black Box HG-2 plug-in, valid for life on 3 devices (macOS and Windows). The license is delivered by email with the activation instructions.

The plugin is loaded as an insert effect in your audio workstation. A common approach is to use it on the mix bus or on drums and vocals, adding gentle colour at low settings or clear tube distortion when the controls are pushed.

Key Features:

• Two tube stages: A Pentode stage adds mainly even-order harmonics and a Triode stage adds third-order harmonics, so the tone can go from smooth to more aggressive.
• Parallel saturation: A separate saturation stage runs in parallel with the main one and has its own frequency selector to focus the effect on lows, mids or highs.
• Air control: Adds the high frequencies around 10 kHz that appear after saturation, giving more openness and presence to the signal.
• Density and calibration: The Density control drives the input while the output is compensated automatically, and the calibration menu offers Dark, Norm and Bright voicings.
• Mix control: Sets the balance between the dry and the processed signal, useful for parallel processing without extra routing.
