A typical session starts with a blank board: a double-click creates a note, dragging one note onto another connects them, related notes are stacked in columns and grouped with background shapes. Once the plan has taken shape, the notes can be dragged straight into Scrivener, where each becomes a document in the project, or exported as a PDF, image or text file.

How to Activate:

1. Download the trial version of Scapple for your platform from the Literature & Latte website and install it (on macOS move the app to the Applications folder).
2. Open Scapple: without a license the program runs in trial mode; choose the registration item (Scapple menu on macOS, Help menu on Windows).
3. Enter the license details received by email, that is the name or address the serial number is registered to and the serial number itself, exactly as sent, and confirm.
4. The trial limitation disappears and the license stays stored on the computer; keep the email for future reinstalls.
