It creates virtual machines in which Windows, Linux and other operating systems run as guests alongside macOS, so you can use Windows applications, test software or work with tools that have no Mac version without leaving your desktop. Version 27 supports Macs with Apple silicon as well as Intel-based Macs.

This product is a perpetual license key for the Standard Edition, version 27: you pay once and use Parallels Desktop 27 for as long as you want, with no subscription and no renewal. The key is registered to your Parallels account and activates the software on one Mac. Updates within version 27 are included; future major versions are not and would require a separate upgrade. A Windows license is not included: Windows can be downloaded through the Parallels installation assistant and activated with your own Windows product key.
