ShotDeck Premium - 1 Month Account

ShotDeck is an online library of high-resolution stills taken from feature films, series, commercials and music videos, founded by cinematographer and director Lawrence Sher. Directors, cinematographers, production designers, photographers and agencies use it to gather visual references for pitches, look books and shot planning, instead of pausing films and taking screen grabs by hand. This listing gives you access to a ShotDeck membership that you use in the web browser, with no software to install.

This product is account access to ShotDeck Premium for 1 month: you receive the login details by email and use the service for a number of users not stated by the supplier (web browser).

A typical workflow starts with a search for a mood or a technique, such as night exteriors lit by practical sources or wide-lens close-ups. You collect the most useful frames in a deck, compare them side by side and share the deck with the rest of the team, so that everyone discusses the same images before the shoot.

Key Features:

• Searchable film stills: A very large collection of hand-tagged frames from studio and independent productions, each tagged with details such as title, director, cinematographer and year.
• Detailed filters: Narrow results by shot type, framing, lens, lighting, colour, time of day, location, genre and many other technical tags.
• Crew and camera data: Stills carry production information such as the crew, genre, camera, lens and aspect ratio, useful when you study how a look was achieved.
• Decks: Save frames into custom collections for a project and organise them by scene, look or reference topic.
• Decks saved in the account: Decks are stored in the account in use: on an account that is not personal other users may see them, so do not save confidential project material there.
• Related images: From any still you can jump to similar shots, other frames of the same film or the work of the same filmmakers.
