Connected Papers is a web tool for exploring scientific literature: starting from one article, it builds a visual graph of the papers most closely related to it, so you can see the research field around a topic at a glance. It is aimed at students, PhD candidates and researchers who are starting a literature review, preparing a thesis or looking for the key works they may have missed in their area. This listing is a paid plan of the service that removes the monthly limit on the number of graphs of the free version; everything runs in the browser, with no software to install.

This product is access to a shared Connected Papers Premium account for 6 months: the login details are sent by email and the same account is used by several customers at the same time (limit: 1 user per customer). Use of the account follows the rules described below.

A typical session starts by entering the title, DOI or keywords of a paper you already know. The graph places similar articles close to each other, sizes them by citation count and colours them by publication year; from there you open the list views to find the foundational works and the most recent follow-up studies, then save the most useful ones for your review.

Please note: The login details of this shared account are used by several customers at the same time. The account is not personal: it is not registered in your name, it is shared with other customers and it stays under the control of the supplier. Do not change the password, e-mail address or any account setting, do not add payment methods and do not exceed the allowed number of devices. Access is provided for 6 months; replacement in case of technical problems is covered only within the warranty stated in the details, if the supplier provides one.
