Soundtoys EchoBoy Jr. 5 - Perpetual License

EchoBoy Jr. is a compact delay plugin by Soundtoys that takes seven of the most popular analog echo styles from the full EchoBoy and puts them behind a small set of controls. It suits producers and home studio users who want tape, pedal and vintage echoes on vocals and instruments quickly, without the deeper editing pages of the larger plugin. This listing is a licence for EchoBoy Jr. only, not for the full EchoBoy: it is redeemed into your iLok account and unlocks the plugin in your audio workstation.

This product is a perpetual license key for Soundtoys EchoBoy Jr. 5: it does not expire and can be used on 2 devices running macOS and Windows. The key is delivered by email together with the activation instructions.

A typical move is to load it on a vocal or guitar send, pick Studio Tape or Memory, sync the echo time to the song tempo in note values and lower the High Cut so the repeats stay warm and out of the way.

Key Features:

• Seven echo styles: Space, Cheap Tape, Memory, Plex, Ambient, Studio Tape and Transmitter recreate classic tape machines, a bucket brigade pedal, a washed-out ambient echo and a radio-like lo-fi tone.
• Quick main controls: Mix, Echo Time and Feedback do most of the work, and high feedback settings can push the echo into analog-style self-oscillation.
• Stereo modes and Glide: Normal, Wide and Ping-Pong set the stereo behaviour, while Glide chooses between a pitch sweep and a time-stretch effect when the echo time changes.
• Tempo sync: Echo time follows the session tempo in note, dotted and triplet values, or can be set freely in milliseconds.
• Tone and saturation: Low Cut and High Cut filters, input and output levels and a Saturation knob shape the colour of the repeats, with presets for different styles and instruments.
