W.A. Production Orchid - Plug-in License

Orchid is a chorus effect plugin by W.A. Production, inspired by the thick, wet studio processing of the 1980s. It is meant for producers and mixing engineers who want to thicken thin synths, basses, guitars, vocals or drums in their DAW and give them width, depth and extra harmonics. This listing is a license key that is added to your W.A. Production account to unlock the plugin; the installer is provided by the manufacturer.

This product is a license for the W.A. Production Orchid plug-in for a number of devices not stated by the supplier (macOS and Windows). The supplier does not state the duration of the license, so no specific validity period is guaranteed. The license is delivered by email with the activation instructions.

Orchid can be used for a subtle thickening of a single part or pushed hard for phase and comb-filter effects. Speed, Depth and Feedback set the basic chorus, Spread places it in the stereo field, and the Mix control or the Mute Source button let you run it in parallel or on a send.

Key Features:

• Four-way chorus: Instead of simply doubling the signal, Orchid runs four chorus modules at once for a denser and deeper result.
• Shimmer and Space: Shimmer adds harmonics up to two octaves above the source with a slow phasing movement, while Space adds reverb to each chorus layer.
• Delay and filters: The processed signal can be delayed by up to 100 ms, and high-pass and low-pass filters shape the tone of the chorus.
• Mix, Mute Source and bypass: A dry/wet control, a button to hear only the effect and a smoothed, click-free bypass make comparisons and parallel use easy.
• Visual feedback and presets: A live meter in the centre of the resizable interface shows the signal, and factory presets cover bass, drums, guitars, synths, vocals and special effects.
