UAD LA-2A Tube Compressor - Perpetual License

UAD LA-2A Tube Compressor is a Universal Audio plug-in that recreates the Teletronix LA-2A, the optical tube compressor heard on vocals, bass and drums in popular music for more than 50 years. Its controls are kept simple, and professionally crafted presets for vocals, guitars, bass and more give a quick starting point even if you are not a professional mixer. The license key is activated on your own Universal Audio account; the plug-in runs natively on Mac or PC and works with any compatible audio workstation, with no UA hardware required.

This product is a perpetual license key for UAD LA-2A Tube Compressor: it does not expire and can be used on macOS and Windows; the number of users is not stated by the supplier. The key is delivered by email together with the activation instructions.

A UAD plug-in is inserted on a track or a bus like any other effect, for example on a vocal, a guitar, a bass or a drum group, while recording or mixing. The native versions run on the computer's processor, so no Universal Audio interface or accelerator is needed to use them.

Key Features:

• Optical tube compression: Recreates the gentle optical tube compression of the Teletronix LA-2A, used to add warmth and control to vocals, bass, drums and synths.
• Simple controls and presets: A few intuitive controls and professionally crafted presets for vocals, guitars, bass and more give a usable sound quickly.
• Runs natively: The plug-in uses the computer's processor and works with any compatible DAW, without an Apollo interface or a UAD-2 accelerator.
• UA Connect: The Universal Audio desktop app installs, updates and authorises the plug-in linked to your account.
