Website Link Checker - License Key

Website Link Checker is a desktop program by Web Tweak Tools for Windows and macOS that crawls a website and finds broken or dead links. It is meant for webmasters, SEO specialists and developers who want to keep a site free of 404 errors and missing files, from a small blog to a large corporate site. This listing is an activation code that registers the full program after installation.

This product is a license key for Website Link Checker for use on macOS and Windows; the number of devices is not stated by the supplier. The supplier does not state the duration of the license, so no specific validity period is guaranteed. The key is delivered by email together with the activation instructions.

A typical check starts from the home page: the crawler follows every page of the site, tests internal and external links, and at the end the list of broken links shows on which page each one sits and why it fails, ready to be fixed and exported as a report.

Key Features:

• Whole-site crawling: Starting from one page, the crawler goes through the site page by page and can check the entire site, a single page or one directory.
• Links and linked files: Checks links to pages on the same site and on external sites, as well as documents, images, scripts, style sheets and other objects linked from the pages.
• Clear error details: Every broken link is shown with the page where it appears, the error returned (for example 404) and a hint on how to fix it.
• Multi-threaded scanning and filters: Several pages are checked at the same time with an adjustable number of threads, and URL filters include or exclude parts of the site.
• Protected sites, proxies and reports: Works with sites that need an SSL certificate or a form login, supports HTTP and SOCKS proxies, and exports results in HTML, XML, Excel and text formats.
