GitHub Pro is the paid individual plan of GitHub, the code hosting and collaboration platform run by GitHub, Inc.: it upgrades a personal account beyond the limits and tools of the Free plan. It is meant for independent developers, freelancers and students who keep their own projects in private repositories and want the same review rules, documentation tools and automation quotas that teams use. What you buy is a GitHub Pro subscription applied to your own GitHub account: repositories, stars, followers and history stay exactly as they are. GitHub Pro is a separate service from GitHub Copilot and does not include the AI assistant.

This product activates GitHub Pro for 3 months on your own account (a free account with the service is enough, unless the details say otherwise): after payment we apply the subscription to the account you indicate, usable for 1 user (web browser).

How to Activate:

1. Sign in to your GitHub account and note the user name or e-mail address it is registered with.
2. Provide that account as requested after purchase; your password is not needed.
3. Once the upgrade is done, open Settings, then Billing and licensing, and check that the plan shows as GitHub Pro.
4. The Pro features are available right away in your repositories and account settings.
