Eventide Punctuate - Perpetual License

Punctuate is a multiband transient shaper plugin published by Eventide and developed together with Newfangled Audio, the team behind several of the brand's modern mixing tools. It is aimed at producers, mixing and mastering engineers who want to change the attack and sustain of drums, instruments, groups or full mixes in selected frequency areas instead of across the whole spectrum. This listing is a license key for the plugin: it is registered in your Eventide account and unlocks the full version inside your audio workstation.

This product is a perpetual license key for Eventide Punctuate: it does not expire and can be used on 1 device running macOS and Windows. The key is delivered by email together with the activation instructions.

A typical use is bringing out the snap of a snare buried in a dense mix, softening harsh pick attacks on a guitar bus or adding punch to a drum group without touching the low end. Punctuate works as an insert effect next to your equalisers and compressors and does not replace them.

Key Features:

• 26 hearing-based bands: The signal is split into 26 bands modelled on the critical bands of the human ear, so transient changes sound natural and precise.
• Four main controls: Boosting or cutting transients across all bands is handled with just four knobs, which keeps the workflow fast even on complex material.
• Triangular filters: The bands use overlapping triangular filters, the same shape found in hearing models, to avoid audible seams between frequency areas.
• Adaptive Transient control: A dedicated knob smooths the transient modulation across neighbouring bands for a more even and musical result.
• AAX, VST3 and AU formats: The plugin runs in the main audio workstations on Windows and macOS through the AAX, VST3 and Audio Units formats.
