Downie 4 - Lifetime License

Downie is a video downloader for macOS developed by Charlie Monroe Software. Paste or drag a link into the app and Downie saves the video to your Mac: it supports YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion, Youku and more than 1,000 other sites, including social networks and video platforms, and the list grows with almost every update. It is designed for people who want to keep lectures, tutorials, music videos or their own uploads available offline, with a simple interface and no technical setup.

This product is a license code for the one-time purchase edition of Downie 4: you pay once and use the app with no expiration date and no subscription. The license includes all updates within version 4 and allows up to 3 activations on the Macs you own, for personal use. A future major version, if released by the developer, may require a paid upgrade.

Key Features:

• 1,000+ supported sites: downloads from YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion, Youku and a long list of other video and social platforms, updated every week or two as sites change.
• 4K and HD quality: Downie fetches the highest quality the site offers, not just 1080p; you can also set a preferred maximum resolution.
• Post-processing: automatically converts downloads to MP4 for iPhone, iPad or Apple TV, or extracts just the audio track; set it once and forget it.
• Browser extension: send links to Downie with one click from Safari, Chrome or Firefox, or simply drag and drop a URL into the app.
• Built-in browser: for sites that need a login or are not detected automatically, open the page inside Downie and it grabs the video for you.
• Playlists and subtitles: downloads whole playlists in one go and saves subtitles when the site provides them.
• iCloud history sync: your download history syncs across all your Macs, helping you avoid duplicate downloads.
