Sandboxie Plus is the open-source sandbox isolation software for Windows maintained by David Xanatos (Xanasoft): programs run inside an isolated box, so the files, registry keys and settings they write never reach the real system. It suits anyone who opens unknown attachments, tests installers, keeps a browser apart from personal data or simply wants to try software without leaving traces on the PC. This listing is a supporter certificate: a short block of text entered in the Sandboxie Plus settings that unlocks the functions reserved to supporters, removes the periodic reminder screen and enables the Sandboxie-Live update service.

The certificate exists in several levels, all for private, non-commercial use: Home covers the computers used by one person, FamilyPack extends to the devices of the whole family, and Personal is bound to the builds published up to one year after purchase, which keep their unlocked state afterwards. Companies and schools need a Business certificate; sandbox encryption, proxy injection and DNS filtering additionally require the Advanced Feature Pack, which is not part of this product.

How to Activate:

1. Download the Sandboxie Plus installer from the project website and install it; a restart may be requested for the driver.
2. Open Sandboxie Plus (SandMan), open the Sandbox menu, choose Global Settings and select the Support & Updates tab.
3. Paste the complete certificate text received by email into the certificate field and confirm with Apply.
4. The supporter status appears immediately, the reminder screen disappears and the exclusive box types become available in the new box wizard.
