Proxyman - Perpetual License

Proxyman is the HTTP debugging proxy developed by Proxyman LLC: it sits between your applications and the internet, records every HTTP and HTTPS request and shows headers, bodies and timing in a native desktop app. It is built for developers, QA engineers and anyone who needs to see what a web, mobile or backend app really sends and receives, from a browser, an iOS or Android device, a simulator or a script. The paid license unlocks the Pro tools without limits (unlimited rules, pinned domains and tabs) and includes twelve months of updates; when that period ends, the installed version keeps working with all Pro features.

This product is a perpetual license key for Proxyman: it does not expire and can be used on 1 device running macOS and Windows. The key is delivered by email together with the activation instructions.

A typical session starts with the root certificate installed on the computer or device; from then on Proxyman lists every request as it happens, you pin the domains you care about, filter by app, method or status and hand a captured request to a colleague as a HAR file or a Proxyman log.

Key Features:

• SSL Proxying: Decrypts the HTTPS traffic of the domains you choose once the Proxyman root certificate is installed, so encrypted requests and responses become readable JSON, XML, HTML or images.
• Breakpoint: Pauses a request or a response before it goes through, so you can edit headers, body or status code by hand and see how the app reacts to an error or to unexpected data.
• Map Local and Map Remote: Map Local answers a request with a file from your disk; Map Remote redirects it to another host, for example from production to a staging server, without changing the app.
• Scripting: JavaScript snippets run on matching requests and responses to rewrite values, add headers, mock data or log what you need, with a built-in editor and ready-made examples.
• Network Conditions: Simulates slow or unstable connections (3G, LTE, custom bandwidth, latency and packet loss) to check how an app behaves outside the office network.
• Mobile and backend capture: Guided setup for iOS and Android devices, simulators and emulators, plus automatic capture from Node.js, Ruby and Python processes; WebSocket, GraphQL and Protobuf traffic is decoded in the same view.

How to Activate:

1. Download Proxyman for macOS or Windows from the Proxyman website and install it (on macOS drag the app into the Applications folder).
2. Open the app and install the Proxyman root certificate from the Certificate menu, marking it as trusted, so that HTTPS traffic can be decrypted.
3. In the Proxyman menu choose the license entry (Buy Proxyman Pro or Activate License), paste the license key received by email and confirm; an internet connection is needed for this step.
4. The Pro tools unlock immediately; if you change computer, unlink the previous device from the License menu or from the License Manager on the Proxyman website.
