Waves Magma StressBox - Perpetual License

Magma StressBox is a dynamics plug-in from Waves Audio, part of the Magma range of effects with a vintage, hardware-style look. It is meant for producers and mix engineers who want to change the energy of a track quickly: a single large knob moves the sound from open and airy to dense and punchy. This listing is a license for the plug-in, registered to your own Waves account and then activated through the Waves Central application.

This product is a perpetual license key for Waves Magma StressBox: it does not expire and can be used on 1 device running macOS and Windows. The key is delivered by email together with the activation instructions.

StressBox is typically inserted on drums, bass, vocals or a full bus when a part sounds flat or lifeless. Turning the knob one way brings out the attacks and the room, turning it the other way glues the signal together and pushes it forward; the Mix control blends the processed sound with the unprocessed one for parallel treatment.

Key Features:

• One main control: A single large knob covers the whole range: to the left the plug-in works as an expander, to the right as a compressor, with ratios up to 20:1.
• Expansion for space and attack: On the expansion side quiet parts are pushed down, so transients stand out and the natural ambience of the recording opens up.
• Compression for density: On the compression side the signal becomes thicker and more present, from gentle control to heavy, explosive squashing.
• Input, Output and Mix: Input and Output set the level going into and out of the processor, while Mix blends the dry and processed signal for parallel dynamics.
• Analog-style colour: Besides changing the dynamics, the plug-in adds a touch of harmonic colour that helps dry, sterile tracks sound livelier.
