V-Ray is the photorealistic rendering engine developed by Chaos Software, the Bulgarian company behind Chaos Cosmos, Vantage, Phoenix and Enscape; it plugs into 3ds Max, Maya, SketchUp, Revit, Rhino, Cinema 4D, Houdini, Nuke, Unreal and Blender. It is used by architects, interior designers, product designers and animation studios who need physically accurate light, materials and cameras without leaving the modelling program they already work in. This listing is a V-Ray subscription applied to your own Chaos account: once it is active you download the plug-in for the host application you use and sign in with that account, there is no separate key to type.

This product activates Chaos V-Ray for 1 year on your own account (a free account with the service is enough, unless the details say otherwise): after payment we apply the subscription to the account you indicate, usable for 1 user (macOS and Windows).

A typical workflow starts with a model built in SketchUp, 3ds Max or Revit: V-Ray adds lights, materials from its library and a physical camera, the interactive renderer shows the result while you adjust it, and the final image or animation is computed on the CPU, on the GPU or sent to Chaos Cloud so the workstation stays free.

How to Activate:

1. Create a free Chaos account on the Chaos website, or use the one you already have, and send us its e-mail address after the order; never share your password.
2. Wait for our confirmation that the subscription has been added to your account and check it in the licenses section of the Chaos account page.
3. Download the V-Ray installer for your host application from the downloads area of the Chaos website and run it; the Chaos License Server is installed with it.
4. Start the host application, open V-Ray and sign in with your Chaos account in the license window: the plug-in unlocks as soon as the license is found.
