Rosetta Stone - 14 Days Shared Account

Rosetta Stone is the language learning program developed by Rosetta Stone Ltd., part of IXL Learning, built on an immersive method: words and phrases are taught through pictures, native speaker audio and short exercises instead of translation lists. It suits beginners who start a language from scratch as well as learners who want a steady daily routine: lessons take a few minutes, run in the browser and in the mobile apps, and let you decide whether to work first on speaking, vocabulary or grammar. What you buy here is paid access to the program: the plan includes the full course path, the speech tools and the practice exercises for the language or languages it covers.

This product is access to a shared Rosetta Stone account for 14 days: the login details are sent by email and the same account is used by several customers at the same time; the number of users is not stated by the supplier. Use of the account follows the rules described below.

Typical uses: preparing for a stay abroad with the practical phrases of the Phrasebook, getting used to the sounds of a new language before a course at school or university, keeping a second language alive with ten minutes of practice a day, or working on pronunciation before job interviews and meetings with foreign colleagues.

Key Features:

• Immersive method: Each lesson pairs images, spoken sentences and short tasks so you link words to their meaning directly, without memorising grammar tables first.
• TruAccent speech engine: The built-in speech recognition compares your pronunciation with native speakers and shows straight away which sounds and syllables still need work.
• More than twenty languages: The catalogue covers Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hebrew, Hindi, Russian, Dutch, Greek, Polish, Swedish, Turkish, Vietnamese, Persian, Filipino, Irish and Latin.
• Phrasebook, Stories and Audio Companion: Everyday phrases, short texts read by native speakers and downloadable audio lessons let you keep practising listening while travelling or commuting.
• Study plans and progress: You choose the goal of your plan, and completed lessons, scores and the course path stay in sync between the browser and the apps for Windows, macOS, Android and iOS.
