ESET Mobile Security - 1 Year License

ESET Mobile Security is the Android security app from ESET, the Slovak company known for the NOD32 antivirus engine. It protects smartphones and tablets against malicious apps, phishing links and the risks of a lost or stolen device, and it is aimed at people who use their phone for banking, shopping and work. What you buy is a license key that unlocks the Premium features of the app, which is installed free from Google Play and then activated with the key.

This product is a license key for ESET Mobile Security: it can be used on 1 device running Android, with a validity of 1 year as declared by the supplier (start of the period not stated). The key is delivered by email together with the activation instructions.

A typical use is a personal phone that holds banking and shopping apps: the app checks every new install in the background, warns about dangerous pages opened from messages and emails, and keeps the phone traceable in case it gets lost. The Security Audit screen shows which apps have sensitive permissions and which settings should be changed.

Key Features:

• Real-time antimalware: Apps and files are checked when they are installed or downloaded, and scheduled scans look for threats already present on the device.
• Anti-Phishing: Fake websites that try to steal passwords or card details are blocked in supported browsers and when opened from links.
• Anti-Theft: A lost phone can be located on a map, locked or made to show a message from the ESET HOME portal.
• App Lock and Payment Protection: Selected apps can be locked with a PIN or fingerprint, and banking and payment apps open in a protected mode.
• Security Audit and Network Inspector: The app reviews device settings and app permissions and checks the Wi-Fi network you are connected to for weak points.
