It is built for households that mix operating systems: the same subscription protects Windows computers, Macs, Android phones and iPhones, and every device is enrolled and watched from the Bitdefender Central web account. The paid subscription is tied to a Bitdefender Central account, new or existing, and turns the installed applications into the paid version; depending on the listing it is delivered as an activation code or applied directly to your own account.

This product is an upgrade of your own Bitdefender Total Security account for 3 years: after payment we apply the subscription to the account you indicate, usable on 10 devices (Windows, macOS, Android and iOS).

Compared with Antivirus Plus and Internet Security, which only cover Windows, Total Security adds the applications for macOS, Android and iOS plus the device optimisation tools; the Premium Security tier goes further with unlimited VPN traffic. The subscription can start a new plan or extend one that is already running on the same account.

How to Activate:

1. Create a Bitdefender Central account on the Bitdefender website or sign in with the one you already use.
2. Add the subscription to that account: an activation code is entered under My Subscriptions in Bitdefender Central; for an activation on your account, send us its e-mail address after the order and we add the subscription for you.
3. Check that the subscription appears under My Subscriptions in Bitdefender Central.
4. Install the Bitdefender application on each device from Central and sign in with the same account, so the device picks up the paid protection.
