Bitdefender Mobile Security - 1 Year License

Bitdefender Mobile Security is the Android security application of Bitdefender, the Romanian security vendor whose scanning engine is also licensed by other antivirus makers. It is meant for phones and tablets that hold banking apps, messages and photos: the scanner checks installed applications, web protection filters dangerous links and the anti-theft tools help when the device is lost. This listing is a paid subscription in the form of an activation code that is added to a Bitdefender Central account, new or existing, and turns the installed application into the paid version.

This product is a license key for Bitdefender Mobile Security: it is valid for 1 year from activation on 1 device and can be used on Android. The key is delivered by email together with the activation instructions.

The free version of the app only scans on demand, while the paid subscription enables the permanent protection layers, Scam Alert and the anti-theft commands. The code is added to a Bitdefender Central account, new or existing, and the protection is then installed on the devices from that account.

Key Features:

• Malware Scanner: Checks installed applications and files on the device and in the cloud, and inspects every new application as soon as it is installed.
• Web Protection and Scam Alert: Blocks fraudulent and infected pages in the browser and warns about dangerous links arriving through messages and notifications.
• App Anomaly Detection: Watches how installed applications behave and reports the ones that start doing something they are not supposed to do.
• Anti-Theft: Locates, locks or wipes the device remotely from the Bitdefender Central web account if the phone is lost or stolen.
• App Lock and Account Privacy: Protects the chosen applications with a PIN or a fingerprint and checks whether your email address appears in a known data leak.
